Rated 4 out of 5 by HAMC from Heavy & large This is a good tool but it’s heavy which makes it awkward to use. Your arms get tired whilst using it! However it does give you nice large waves but you can’t really dry very wet hair with it. It would take for ever!

Follow the guide on the video on the Babyliss website on how to use it properly and you won’t be disappointed. My hair is fine and this makes it fuller. Delighted with it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tashy from Nice looking appliance, but not for my hair type [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is attractive, the chrome-like rose colour makes this look attractive on your dressing table. I found the cord length handy, as it was long enough to move comfortably whilst styling my hair. The handle stays cool whilst you style, and the handle length is great as it allows you to comfortably move around whilst styling, and to reach the back of your head. I liked the various heat controls and appreciated that the heat button stayed firm against any accidental touches whilst using. Despite the good-looking product, the results were disappointing for me; my hair type is afro 3C-4A, and I felt it took many passes (approx. 10+) to dry my hair and achieve the blown out look. I sectioned my hair, and applied heat protection and heat styling products, but this styler did not give me the look I was hoping for. I was expecting a sleek, voluminous blow out since this boasts an ionic setting. My presumption is this product was not made for my hair type. This may suit someone with thinner hair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Aleksandra from Disappointed Lovely to look at and hair is done well but it is HEAVY, NOT GRIP FRIENDLY( your hand slides toward the brush while using because of the shape) and it gets so hot that it burns to touch, that glove they add is completely useless, slippery and does not prevent from feeling the hot surface. Just a little gimmick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CruiseFran1 from Fabulous piece of kit I was given this for Christmas and although I’ve only used it a couple of times, I just know it’s exactly what I wanted. The brush is quite heavy, but I don’t find it too weighty. You can hold the handle with one or two hands and the tip doesn’t get hot, so you can also use that if it’s easier. The brush shape is oval and hair doesn’t get caught up on itself like it would with a round hairbrush. It’s quite large, but perfect for my shoulder length hair. That said, it also works well on the layers and I have no trouble using it on my fringe. It’s powerful, so dried hair while styling really well. No need to use hairdryer first. On full, it gets quite hot so I’d advise using heat protection spray. The lower temperature I find a bit cool, but maybe I need to alter the setting depending on how long/thick the section is. The end result is a smooth blow dry, not as good as my hairdresser would do, but that’s fair enough. I can get a better result than I do when trying to blow dry it the old fashioned way, and that’s what counts.

It takes away the need to blow dry using a brush. It has 2 heat settings and an ionic frizz reducing button. It has a setting for wet hair and for dry hair so it can be used straight after washing your hair. The only downside is, its quite a big and chunky tool to use. So it may take a while to get used to. It does dry hair quicker compared to a traditional hair drier. It has bristles and ceramic on the brush but you have to becareful with using it too close to your scalp as it can get hot. Overall the design could be better which would make the product more effective
