I have been using the same make of hairdryer for over 20 years but they have now discontinued it. I have been searching for quite some time for a replacement, it was a hard act to follow. I have quite thick hair and the only downside is that this hairdryer does take longer to dry my hair but I can live with this as everything else is perfect.

I use the medium air flow & coolest setting and it dries my hair much quicker than my old hairdryer, which is a blessing in this very hot weather, and because you only need the coolest setting I feel there's less frizz to my curls. It's stylish so looks good if you leave it out and quiet too which us a bonus. I'm very pleased with my hairdryer and would definitely recommend it.

I read a magazine article that rated this hair dryer top of all those tested &, as I've found my hair has become drier & more unruly as I've got older, I thought I'd give it a try. Being ionic is does make my hair less flyaway & smoother & (a real bonus) I don't end up with my face looking like a boiled beetroot at the end of styling my hair as I did before, even on the hottest setting it feels cooler & more comfortable to use, I think also it takes less time. The controls, unfortunately, are in the exact place where you hold the handle so it's easy to alter the settings without meaning to, but I have now got the knack of holding it so I don't do that. I haven't weighed it, but I would dispute the claim regarding the weight as it is still fairly heavy, but that wasn't the main reason I bought it &, other than that, I'm very pleased.
