Super easy to use, doesn’t get too hot, it is a little loud tho. The cable is long so you don’t have to keep moving but the most important thing to me was it finally controlled my frizz! It does have wet and dry mode but I don’t think the dry mode works as good as having your hair a little damp. It cools down quickly so no need to worry about where you’re placing it. It does feel a little heavy after a while of using it but all in all it does everything it says.

It's made my frizz appear smoother, my hair feels softer and it dries my hair relatively quickly. But, it is quite chunky and heavy. If you can put up with the achy arms from using it, your hair will look great! I've found flipping my hair over with my head between my knees while using it the brush, helps increase the volume!

Different heat settings allow you to customise how much heat you like on your hair. There’s a really good addition of a heat glove but it is on the smaller side and I don’t have big hands. The device is quite large and chunky but I found it okay to use and not too heavy. Using this has avoided me needed to use a hair drier and straighteners, just this one product on its own was quicker! (The heat mat in the photos is my own)

The design is clean and simple, nothing flashy, just well thought-out and easy to get on with. The controls are laid out in a way that makes sense, simple and easy to use so you’re not fiddling around trying to find the right heat or speed setting. The cable is permanently attached to the base of the styler with a clever 360 rotational fitting meaning the cable doesn't get wrapped around you or itself. Switch between wet or dry mode with the turn switch on the head and the slider switch has 3 heat settings. There is the ability to switch the ioniser on or off too. Everything is firmly attached / built-in so there are no attachments to be misplaced. When you switch it on, the airflow is smooth and steady. It feels controlled, which makes it easier to style without your hair whipping all over the place. The brush head grips the hair gently and helps you shape it rather than fighting against you. And this is also easy to keep clean. I have used it on wet and dry mode for long wavy hair, I found it gave excellent results to gain a smooth, frizz free result. Its only flaw being its excessive weight which made it difficult to manoeuvre to curl hair. What stood out most is how quickly you can get some lift and shape into your hair. It’s not trying to be a full hairdryer replacement, but for adding volume at the roots, smoothing out sections or giving yourself a bit of polish before heading out, it does the job really well. And the finish is surprisingly soft. If you want something that’s easy to use, feels well made (if a little on the heavy side) and actually helps you get some volume and shape without faff, this Air Styler is for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsH4rn355 from Babyliss AS95U Air Power Volume [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Qualified Hairdresser used on Sister, she said its Bulky but efficient, Adult Autistic person used on Autistic child, Adult found it okay to use and handle and the noise was okay, Child found low setting fine but higher setting noisy. Hair type thick and curly, advised to separate and section if hair is thick, took 30min from wet to dry. It has wet and dry mode, anti frizz button, cold, warm then hot setting. Easy to brush and dry, it didnt tangle or stick, the heat protection glove is a good added bonus, helps as the machine got warm, the hair felt soft smooth silky and hot so the glove was helpful at protecting from a burn. The hair didnt feel hot for long, just in that moment. 2.5m cord is brilliant, overall a really good machine.

The wet option is so good, it dries so quickly and evenly, whilst smoothing and styling my hair. I like the multiple heat / speed options, I have thin damaged hair so I don't like to use too much heat. It leaves my hair lovely and smooth, it's easy to get a nice straight dry that lets me blend my hair well with extensions. I used to blow dry my hair, then straighten with straightener, this does it all in one go! The frizz reduction buttons seems to work really well, my hair can often get really frizzy with hair dryers, but this one left my hair smooth and silky. The cool temp option worked well for setting my hair at the end, it still looked the same the next morning. My favourite part is the Flexi bristles, the brush allows me to keep tension on the hair and dry it straight without pulling it too much or causing breakage, with thin, damaged hair this is VERY important to me. It feels very well built and sturdy, a nice weight that is easy to hold and use. 100% recommend!

Easy to use and halved the time it takes to dry my hair. The only slight downside is it’s quite heavy but I feel like the results make it worth it!
