Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good curler - practice needed - read instructions Good curl effect but you need practice! It’s obviously easier to do the sides but back of head tricky. I quite like the messy non symmetrical look as if you’ve not tried too hard so it works for me. My hair did get caught a couple of times but I was able to ease out and once had to remove the outer sheaf. I have previously tried to use straighteners as my hairdresser does but always ended up getting burnt and not a great result so this is far better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hair curling product I absolutely love this hair curling tool. I have polka straight hair & struggle to curl, ive used alsorts of fads etc & nothing. This piece of kit is amazing. Heats up in second, various temperature settings in addition to air, you've a choice to rotate either way or just the same. It took me a few goes to get the hang of it & I found out by practicing. It really is so simple to use, if your prep your hair correctly, use heat protect spray and section using little bobbles or clips and depending on length & thickness of your hair. I have shoulder length & it now takes me total of 15 minutes, start to finish. I cannot recommend this product enough. It's brilliant.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for me Curls don't hold, it creates very tight curls initially but they drop within minutes, very time consuming and tricky to use, the hype around this is not valid and for something so expensive, a wand or straighteners will do a far better job, in half the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re after an easy way to get salon-worthy curls at home, the BaByliss Style Secret Air is a very impressive tool. BaByliss is a quality brand and it feels solid and well-built in the hand. The combination of heat and controlled airflow means it’s gentler on your hair than traditional straighteners or curling tongs. I'm really wary of heat damage, but my hair felt great after using the tool. One of the standout features is the automatic curling technology: you feed small sections of hair into the rotating chamber and it wraps and styles for you. There are multiple heat/airflow settings, timer options, and three direction modes, so you can do everything from soft beachy waves to more glam curls. If like me, your hair is very long or very thick, it will take a bit longer to use because you need to work with smaller sections to avoid tangles and to get consistent curls. It’s not the fastest option if you’re trying to style a very full head of hair in a hurry. There’s a bit of a learning curve to get the best results but once you’ve mastered it, the results are worth it. Letting each curl cool before brushing, or pinning sections after curling, gives long-lasting curls that stay bouncy for days. Overall, this is a really good choice for anyone who loves a professionally styled look but wants something more user-friendly and hair-friendly than a traditional tong.
