I have thick, quite wavy hair, so do have to go over with straighteners for a really smooth finish. Does have a true cold shot button. Not a bad dryer for the money, with 5 year warranty. Would have liked the cord a bit longer.

It's a good hairdryer but if I'd known how noisy it is compared to my old one, I wouldn't have bought it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ck02 from Not as great as the other reviews Bought this for the 2400 power but I find it too powerful on the highest speed setting as it tangles my hair and ends up taking longer to dry after detangling. Agree with other reviews that it is quite heavy, which I wouldn’t mind if I could use it on full power but I use it on the lower speed setting which doesn’t really make it worth while for me. And it’s very loud/rattling
